ASQ supports educators nationally using quality in their district, schools and classrooms to support learning and 21st century skill development in problem solving, critical thinking, STEM development, and quality tools and methods for collaborative and self-directed learning. This year schools and districts who would like to attend the National Quality Education Conference but are experiencing deep cuts in travel and operation staffing are looking for local and national sponsors to sustain professional development in this critical time.

ASQ is calling all organizations who support quality and education in your community to sponsor a teacher, school, or district to attend this years National Quality Education Conference, October 25–27 in Jacksonville, FL. As you might imagine, professional development for teachers and additional community support for schools in your community is key for them to be able to help students achieve and provide the workforce you need. By sponsoring a teacher in your area you will be helping your community and showing good corporate leadership.

How to Get Started

Now that you understand the benefits of the program it’s easy to get started!

1. Pick a Teacher, School, or District. If you don’t have one in mind, ASQ can match your organization with an educator in need. Contact Crista Kautz to be matched with a teacher at ckautz@asq.org or 800-248-1946 ext. 8740.
2. The chosen educator will need to complete an application form (PDF, 75 KB).
3. Send completed registration form with the Sponsor a Teacher rate of $355 to:

4. Although travel is not included in the $355 rate, we encourage businesses to assist teachers in travel expenses.
