What is the Education Team Excellence Award?

ETEA recognizes teams who are improving educational outcomes, stakeholder involvement and school quality

• It’s a premier showcase for recognizing and awarding outstanding educational teams
• It’s a national stage for sharing your innovative solutions and best practices
• It’s an opportunity to extend your personal and organizational knowledge
• It’s an inspiring celebration that rewards your organization’s commitment to continuous improvement

Who can apply?

Any education "organization" or group of individuals committed to continuous improvement within an educational setting are encouraged to apply

"Organization" encompasses a wide variety of educational service units including, but not limited to: school districts, universities, trade schools, day care centers, community colleges, individual buildings/schools, grade-level teams, departments, and individual classrooms.

How do I participate?

Simply complete the intent to submit form at ETEA Intent to Submit and follow the submission timeline below.

ETEA Timeline

July 26, 2010: Complete ETEA Intent to Submit.

August 2, 2010: Complete your PowerPoint presentation with speaker notes. For examples from previous years view the criteria and past presenter presentations, from 2009, 2008, or 2007.

August 15, 2010: Complete ETEA team entry form and upload PPT file, team photo, and company logo.

August & September 2010: Preliminary round of judging and feedback report to team.

September 2010: Teams receive feedback report and are notified of selection for final round at National Quality Education Conference in Chicago, IL.

November 7–9, 2010: FINAL ROUND: Live presentations at National Quality Education Conference in Chicago, IL.
