Showcase Your Team at the 2008 National Quality Education Conference

Teamwork is essential in education. Teachers, administrators, staff, students and parents work together to give our children every possible opportunity to learn.

The Education Team Excellence Award showcases what teams accomplish in our schools.

The Education Team Excellence Award Process

Teams submit a presentation explaining their project and process. The presentations are judged on how well they meet the Team Evaluation Criteria. Each team receives a scoresheet and feedback report.

Teams will present live at ASQ’s 16th Annual National Quality Education Conference in Reno, NV, November 16-18, 2008. A panel of judges evaluates each team. The highest scoring teams will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards, and each team receives recognition for its participation.
 

Timeline

• June 2, 2008: Intent-to-submit forms due from teams
• August 1, 2008: Entry fees and materials due from teams
  
• August 2008: Preliminary round judging
• September 2008: Teams receive preliminary scoresheet and feedback report
• September 2008: Teams and judges invited to participate in live showcase at NQEC 2008
• November 16-18, 2008: ASQ’s 16th Annual National Quality Education Conference in Reno, NV
